academic year 2026 (two semesters) · Priced for this course · Non-EU students

Charged only to students from outside the EU/EEA: Aalborg states plainly on the same page that "Students from EU/EEA countries are not required to pay tuition fees", and lists residence-permit categories (including EU-status holders under the EU Residence Order) that also exempt a student. A separate, non-refundable application fee of 150 EUR applies to fee-paying applicants. AAU dates the rate only as "the academic year 2026 (two semesters)" — no 2026/27-style academic year appears against it — so periodLabel carries the university’s own wording rather than an inferred year, and AAU adds that "Fees are subject to change" and that any difference must be paid before enrolment. Note for anyone hoping to offset this: the same page states that "Aalborg University does not offer tuition waivers or scholarships for bachelor's programmes", which is why no scholarship is recorded for these degrees. First-semester tuition falls due about three months before studies start, later semesters one month before.

  • IELTS Academic, 6.5 overall, minimum score of 6.0 in each sectionAAU will not accept an IELTS or TOEFL result more than two years old at the application deadline, does not accept "IELTS One Skill Retake", and verifies every result directly with the test centre. The test is one route to AAU's underlying requirement, which is English at Danish level B (equivalent to CEFR B2); the requirement can also be met through the applicant's own upper-secondary schooling.
  • TOEFL iBT, 85 overall, minimum score of 20 in each sectionPrinted as "TOEFL (internet-based + Home Edition)". AAU does not accept "TOEFL MyBest Scores".

Academic offer

An upper secondary school exam, plus English at level B, Mathematics at level A with a minimum average grade of 4.0, and either Physics B or Geoscience A. A, B and C are Danish course levels, not grades. AAU states that all applicants meeting the entry requirements will be admitted — but warns that from 2027 the programme becomes restricted in admission, so meeting the requirements and applying on time will no longer guarantee a place.

academic year 2026 (two semesters) · Priced for this course · Non-EU students

Charged only to students from outside the EU/EEA: Aalborg states plainly on the same fee page that "Students from EU/EEA countries are not required to pay tuition fees", and lists residence-permit categories that also exempt a student. This rate (DKK 55,600) is markedly lower than the DKK 115,700 rate already recorded for AAU's three Esbjerg-campus engineering bachelor's programmes -- Economics and Business Administration is run from the Aalborg campus by Aalborg University Business School, not the Esbjerg engineering faculty. A separate, non-refundable application fee of 150 EUR applies to fee-paying applicants. AAU dates the rate only as "the academic year 2026 (two semesters)" and adds that "Fees are subject to change". AAU also states plainly that it offers no tuition waivers or scholarships for bachelor's programmes.

Accommodation

DKK 2,800per month

Møllebæk & Vognsbøl Kollegiet, a dormitory five minutes’ walk from AAU’s Esbjerg campus — the campus where all three of AAU’s English-taught STEM bachelor’s programmes are taught. AAU states the prices were updated in April 2025.

  • Apartment for 1 person, own "small" kitchen and bathroomDKK 2,800
  • Apartment for 2 persons, private room with shared bathroom and kitchen (per person)DKK 2,800

Both room types are the same monthly rent; the deposit differs (DKK 5,500 for the single apartment, DKK 4,500 per person for the shared one) and a deposit is not rent. There is a common laundry on site. AAU lists a second Esbjerg option on a separate page of its own site — Sanct Georgs Dormitory, three minutes’ walk from campus, at DKK 2,900 a month with a DKK 5,500 deposit — which is not covered by the quote cited here.

Published by the university itself, not a live listings price. Actual cost depends on room type, availability and when you apply.
