About
Why StudyPath exists
Choosing where to study abroad means trusting numbers you cannot easily check. StudyPath exists because those numbers are usually wrong.
The problem this was built for
Search for the tuition of almost any university and you will find a figure on a ranking site, an aggregator, or an agent's brochure. Those figures go stale constantly and almost never say when they were last checked. A student comparing two countries can easily be working from prices that are years old, or from a domestic rate quoted as though it applied to international applicants — a difference that is routinely double.
The consequence is not academic. It is a family budgeting for a degree that costs far more than they were told.
How every figure here is checked
Each fee, deadline, intake and scholarship on this site is read from the university's own website, and a copy of that page is archived at the moment it is read. Stored alongside the number is the exact sentence it came from.
Before anything is published, an automated check re-reads every archived page and confirms that the stored sentence still appears in it, word for word, and that the number is really in that sentence. If a single figure fails, nothing ships. That is why you can click through to the source of any number here.
The collecting is AI-assisted. Software agents find the university's page, archive it, and propose the sentence and the figure to record. Nothing they propose is published on trust: every figure has to pass the check above, batches are reviewed before release, and anything that cannot be tied to the university's own words is left blank rather than filled in.
Ranking sites and study-abroad aggregators are never accepted as sources for a figure. The one exception is QS's own ranking indicators, because those are QS's own measurements rather than numbers it is relaying from somewhere else.
Where it is incomplete, and why that is on purpose
The dataset currently holds 793 universities across 89 countries, with 10,778 verified tuition figures.
Plenty of fields are blank, and that is deliberate. When a university does not publish a price — or publishes one with no currency, or no period, or no academic year — this site records nothing rather than estimating. A gap is honest and can be filled later. An invented number is indistinguishable from a real one until it costs somebody money.
Where a figure had to be converted or annualised for comparison, it is shown as approximate and the university's own published figure is shown beside it.
Who makes this
StudyPath is built and maintained by Fareh, an independent developer, not by a university, an agency, or a recruitment company. No university pays to be listed, to rank higher, or to be described more favourably. Nothing on this site is written by a university's marketing team.
How it pays for itself
The site is free to use, with no account required to browse, and it is funded by advertising. Ads sit between content sections and never beside a fee figure, inside an evidence disclosure, or on the scholarship checker — because an advert next to a verified number invites exactly the confusion this site exists to prevent.
If sponsored placements are ever introduced, they will be labelled as sponsored wherever they appear. What is written about a university will not be for sale. See the privacy page for what advertising partners can and cannot see.
