One Lebanese government domain added to IMMIGRATION_DOMAINS in scripts/verify.mjs: moim.gov.lb (Ministry of Interior and Municipalities, the authority responsible for naturalisation decrees). general-security.gov.lb (General Security, the agency responsible for entry visas and residency permits for foreigners) was also researched in depth but not needed as a citation in the end — its actual domain is general-security.gov.lb, not generalsecurity.gov.lb (no hyphen), which returns no results at all and could mislead a future collector; note this for anyone continuing this entry. Its 'Annual Residence' page (general-security.gov.lb/en/posts/241) itemises fee/document requirements for several dependent and income-based residency categories (spouse/child of a worker, parent or sibling of a Lebanese citizen, a religious student, an income/bank-statement-based residency) but has no distinct category for an ordinary international university student or graduate; its visa-type list (general-security.gov.lb/en/posts/159-0) does confirm a distinct '223- Student visa' entry-visa category exists (separate from '224- a student in religion'), but this dataset could not extract the specific document/work-rights requirements attached to that code from the page's table markup, and no General Security page was found stating a work-during-study hours entitlement or a distinct post-study work/job-search permit. workDuringStudy, postStudyWork and residencyRoute are therefore all left null — recorded as an absence of found information via these two authorities, not a confirmed 'no'. The base Nationality Law text itself (Decision No. 15 of 19 January 1925, as amended) was actively sought on moim.gov.lb — the domain hosts only a scanned, non-text-layer PDF of a specific 2018 naturalisation decree (moim.gov.lb/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/tejnis.pdf, confirmed via pdftotext returning empty output) rather than the underlying law's numbered articles — and a further attempt to reach the Lebanese University's public legal-informatics portal (legallaw.ul.edu.lb, a state university's official legislative database, hosting a readable copy per its DuckDuckGo search snippet) failed with a direct connection refusal from this environment, confirmed via curl ('Could not connect to server'), so that source could not be verified or cited even had its domain been considered in scope for this dataset's government/immigration-authority-only rule. naturalisationStatus set to 'no-published-route': the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities' own site shows Lebanese nationality being granted through discretionary, security-vetted, individually-named Council of Ministers decrees rather than any published application procedure or objective eligibility criteria a foreign graduate could pursue — a genuine, evidenced absence of a published route, per the doc comment on ResidencyPathway.naturalisationStatus, not an assumption from silence. citizenshipTerms records route descent-only, which is the value this schema pairs with the naturalisationStatus of no-published-route already recorded above, and the two must agree.
