Exemption of Half Tuition (International Undergraduate Program)
Half of the first year's tuition (two semesters) waived — 267,900 JPY per semester reduced to 133,950 JPY. Second year onwards is charged at the full rate.
Eligibility: Hold foreign nationality only, have acquired the qualification to apply to Kyushu University outside Japan, reside outside Japan at the time of application, and enter Japan on a new student visa to study at Kyushu University.

Kyushu University International Undergraduate Scholarship
A monthly allowance of 60,000 JPY.
Eligibility: Up to ten successful applicants for the October admission (MEXT Scholarship recipients excluded) who hold foreign nationality only, acquired their application qualification outside Japan, reside outside Japan when they apply, and enter Japan on a new student visa. From the second year a maximum of ten students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher in the previous year are selected.

Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship — university recommendation
Four years at 117,000 JPY per month, exemption of the enrolment fee and the tuition fee for four years, and return airline tickets to Japan.
Eligibility: Successful applicants with outstanding screening results are eligible to apply; Kyushu University selects several of them and recommends them to MEXT individually.
