Accommodation

€550–€1,600per month

the International Office's approximate guide to monthly rent in Malta — a room in a shared apartment (based on 2 or 3 people sharing) or a single room in a residence/apartment. Not a University-operated hall rate: the on-campus Campus Hub residence is run by third parties, and um.edu.mt publishes no room rates for it.

  • Shared accommodation (based on 2 or 3 persons sharing an apartment)€550–€700
  • Single accommodation (residence or apartment)€800–€1,600

Rent only. The same page lists food and beverages (€450), electricity/water (€50), mobile/Wi-Fi (€30) and laundry (€80–100) as separate monthly costs, and states that public transport is free for e-residence permit holders. The University calls all of these approximations and says they are higher than the amounts required as proof when seeking a visa or residence permit.

Published by the university itself, not a live listings price. Actual cost depends on room type, availability and when you apply.
