International tuition
AED 2,500 per credit unit
Same rate across the institution · All students — no separate international rate
Khalifa University publishes this figure without stating which year it applies to, so it may already be out of date. Treat it as a starting point and check the course page for the current rate. Flag it below if you know it has changed.
Same rate for UAE nationals and international students, for every Bachelor of Science programme. Works out to roughly AED 81,250/year over a normal 4-year, 130-credit BSc.

Khalifa University publishes undergraduate tuition as a per-credit-hour rate: AED 2,500 per credit hour for every Bachelor of Science programme, the same rate for UAE nationals and international students. Its own Fee and Payment Guidelines page puts the estimated cost of a BSc at AED 81,250 per year over a normal 4-year duration (roughly USD 22,100 a year at 2026 exchange rates, or about AED 325,000 over the 130-credit degree). This is recorded here as prose rather than as a structured tuition figure because neither the tuition-fees page nor the fee-and-payment guidelines states which academic year the rate applies to, and this project does not infer a fee’s validity period. Costs beyond tuition, all published on the same page: undergraduate on-campus housing at AED 20,000 per Fall or Spring term for single occupancy in a double room, or AED 10,000 per term for double occupancy; weekend return transport beyond 80 km at AED 2,000 per semester; and a AED 5,000 seat-holding deposit that is credited against the first tuition payment (non-refundable if the student does not enrol). International students on a KU scholarship tier pay a reduced share of this — see the scholarships recorded below.

Khalifa University Scholarship for International Students — Tier I
Full coverage of tuition fees, plus textbooks provided by the University.
Eligibility: Awarded to international students admitted to a full-time undergraduate programme. Eligibility is assessed as part of the admission process (no separate application); international applicants are mapped to a tier on the basis of academic merit and other factors. Places are limited and meeting the minimum criteria does not guarantee an award.
KU does not publish a numeric grade bar for the tiers on this page. Its undergraduate-programs page describes what appears to be the same full award as the "President’s Scholarship", requiring recipients to maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher — recorded separately below with its own citation. No coveragePercentage is recorded here because the page states "Full coverage" in words rather than as a percentage.

President's Scholarship (full scholarship for international students)
100% of tuition fees, in both the College of Engineering and the College of Science.
Eligibility: A limited number of full scholarships for international students with outstanding academic performance and personal qualities; highly competitive. Recipients must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher while at Khalifa University to keep 100% coverage — the same page shows coverage stepping down to 75% at CGPA 3.0-3.29 and 50% at CGPA 2.0-2.99.
minimumGPA is deliberately not recorded: KU states the bar as "a cumulative GPA of 3.3" without ever naming the scale it sits on, and this project does not infer a GPA scale. Read the 3.3 figure off KU’s own page. KU separately publishes a partial "Khalifa University Scholarship" (CGPA 3.0+ = 50% of tuition in Engineering, 75% in Science; CGPA 2.5-2.99 = 25%/50%; CGPA 2.0-2.49 = 10%/25%) and a "Self-pay Scholarship" for students who reach a first-year CGPA of 3.8 or above (20% in Engineering, 30% in Science) on this same page.

- IELTS Academic, 6 overallThis is the bar KU publishes on its undergraduate admissions page. A separate, older KU FAQ page (dated November 2019) states a higher IELTS 6.5 / TOEFL iBT 91 requirement; treat the undergraduate admissions page as the current undergraduate rule and confirm with KU if the two matter to your application.
- TOEFL iBT, 79 overallKU also lists preferable (not required) tests that strengthen an application: SAT Math 700, or a score of 3 in AP Calculus AB/BC, AP Physics C, AP Chemistry or AP Biology.

Admissions tests
- KU Admission Tests requiredKU runs its own internal admission tests (the Khalifa University Admission Test, KUAT) in English, Mathematics and the science subject required by the chosen programme. Shortlisted applicants must sit them; applicants with outstanding academic performance may be exempted. For the Fall 2026 cycle the tests ran January-April 2026, one reschedule was allowed if requested at least 3 days before, and a no-show meant automatic rejection.
