Counts every course in this subject, in any language of instruction, bachelor's and master's alike. The list below starts with English-taught courses only, so it will normally be shorter — untick that filter to see the rest. It also follows the Studying for picker above it, so it shows fewer again once a level is chosen.

Imperial publishes a separate "Overseas fee" for each course and each entry year; £45,500 for 2026 entry matches the department's base Computing MEng rate. This is a genuinely separate, distinctly-admitted degree from Imperial's base Computing MEng — its own UCAS code (G600, vs G401 for base Computing MEng) and its own specialised curriculum ("Computing (Software Engineering)"), run by the Department of Computing as one of a small number of named-specialism MEng variants (the others being e.g. Computing (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning), Computing (Management and Finance)) that applicants choose and are admitted to directly via UCAS, not a year-3 option chosen after enrolling on the base Computing programme. Charged for every year of the course. Home (UK) students pay the government-capped fee instead (£9,790 per year for 2026 entry). Imperial also warns of extra course costs (field trips, books, protective clothing) on top of tuition.
International Baccalaureate Excellence Scholarship
£5,000 per year for each year the course lasts.
Eligibility: Studying the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma programme; an international student paying the Overseas rate of tuition; applying for an undergraduate course within the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Natural Sciences, or Imperial Business School. No fixed IB point-score threshold is published — academically excellent IB applicants are nominated for the scholarship by the Imperial department they apply to, as part of the admissions process (no separate application).
For 2026 entry, Imperial is offering 23 of these scholarships across the three eligible faculties (Engineering, Natural Sciences, Imperial Business School). Awarded by department nomination, not application; continuation depends on maintaining satisfactory academic progress.

This is a genuinely separate, distinctly-admitted degree from UNSW's existing generic Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) entry on StudyPath — its own UAC code (425750), Program code (3707) and CRICOS code (056835E), applied for directly, not a specialisation chosen partway through the generic BEng(Hons). It happens to carry the same indicative fee as the generic Faculty of Engineering rate ($61,500 first-year / $265,500 to complete), since UNSW prices the whole Engineering faculty at one rate regardless of named degree. UNSW's own page describes this as "based on an estimated average using historical student enrolment patterns"; the exact amount depends on the calendar year of enrolment and courses selected. Other fees (Student Services and Amenities Fee etc.) are not included.

UNSW International Student Award
A 20% contribution towards tuition fees each term for the duration of the program. It can be combined with other UNSW scholarships, but not with special offers or tuition fee arrangements under the Sponsor Partners Program.
Eligibility: For international students who are citizens of an eligible country, commencing full-time study as a new student on campus in a UNSW Diploma, undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program in 2026 or 2027, holding an offer of admission and not already a UNSW student. Programs offered by AGSM, UNSW Online, UNSW Canberra, UNSW Foundation Programs, Transition Program Online, any Hexamester-calendar program, and Study Abroad students are excluded. Applicants submit a personal statement of no more than 500 words on their reasons for studying the proposed program.
UNSW publishes an explicit "How will I be assessed?" section for this award: applicants are assessed on their ability to demonstrate "Academic Merit" and "Aptitude and commitment to studies". That is a statement about how the award is decided, not merely a bar to apply, and no financial circumstances are named — hence merit rather than both. Confirmation arrives within two days of the offer. The award cannot be deferred.

UNSW International Scientia Coursework Scholarship (PUCA1025)
Either full tuition fee support for the minimum duration of the program, or a $20,000 contribution each year towards tuition fees for the minimum duration of the program. Recipients may also receive invitations to UNSW networking events and guaranteed entry to the UNSW Professional Development Program.
Eligibility: For international coursework students. UNSW states the award rewards high academic achievement, leadership demonstrated at school, in the workplace or in the community, and extracurricular activities such as sport, cultural activities, volunteer work or work experience. A separate scholarship application is required.
Merit is stated in UNSW's own words — the award "rewards students with high academic achievement, leadership skills ... and extracurricular activities" — with no financial-need element, so merit rather than both. No coveragePercentage is recorded: UNSW writes "full tuition fee support", never a percentage, and inventing 100 would be putting a number in the university's mouth.

Australia's Global University Award (PUCA1026)
A once-off payment of $10,000 towards tuition fees.
Eligibility: For international students applying to UNSW. No separate application is needed — anyone who meets the eligibility criteria is automatically considered when they apply to study at UNSW. UNSW states the scholarship rewards students with high academic achievement.
UNSW's description — "This scholarship rewards students with high academic achievement" — is a direct statement about what the award is given for, so merit is recorded. There is no financial-need element and no application, so it is not both. A fixed cash contribution rather than a percentage, so no coveragePercentage.

UNSW College Award (PUCA1027)
A once-off payment of $10,000 towards tuition fees.
Eligibility: For any student who has successfully completed a UNSW College Foundation Studies program and plans to study a UNSW bachelor's degree. Considered automatically — no separate application. UNSW states the award rewards high academic achievement during UNSW College Foundation Studies.
Recorded as merit on UNSW's own wording that it "rewards students with high academic achievement during their UNSW College Foundation Studies". This route is only open to students who came through UNSW College Foundation Studies — it is not a general international award — but it applies to any UNSW bachelor's degree, so it attaches to every undergraduate program here. A fixed cash contribution, so no coveragePercentage.

This is the standard 3-year, 3.00 EFTSL entry path (no prior relevant qualifications recognised) -- the course's own page also lists a 2-year full-time track 'with relevant prior qualifications', which Melbourne's fee table does not price as a separate row, so it is not recorded here. Table 3 of the university's official 2027 Tuition Fee Tables gives this course's per-EFTSL rate as $66,752/EFTSL, an estimated Year 1 fee of $66,752, and this indicative total course fee of $220,950 for the full 3.00 EFTSL course load. This is a genuinely separate, distinctly-admitted degree from McGill's existing Computer Science (BSc, Faculty of Science) and Computer Engineering (BEng) entries on StudyPath -- its own official admissions programme page ("Software Engineering (Faculty of Engineering)"), applied for directly through the Faculty of Engineering, not a specialization chosen from within Computer Science or Computer Engineering after enrolment. McGill's own page notes the same programme can also be pursued as a Faculty of Science major or as part of the Bachelor of Arts and Science, neither separately recorded here. McGill's Faculty of Engineering charges one international tuition rate across all its Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) programmes, so this Software Engineering (BEng) entry shares the same faculty-wide rate as the existing Computer/Chemical/Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering entries. Figure is tuition only, for students admitted and enrolled from Fall 2026; McGill separately guarantees this per-credit rate for the duration of the programme (no break in enrolment or degree transfer). Society, Student Services, Athletics & Recreation, administrative, copyright, IT, dental and international health insurance fees add a further approx. CAD $3,300/year on top (Total Fees approx. This is the 2025/26 figure as published by Universiti Malaya. An earlier academic year than the one now running. Fees usually rise, so treat it as a floor and check the course page for the current rate.
Taken from UM's own "Fee Structure, Bachelor Programme, Tuition Fee (RM) (International)" sheet, which is headed "Academic session 2025/2026" and "Updated as of October 2025" - i.e. this is the 2025/26 published rate, not a 2026/27 one. The figure is the total for the whole programme, not a yearly rate: the sheet states "Fees structure is based on minimum or common period of study", and fees are "charged is subject to students' registration each semester", so it is normally paid in semester instalments. The sheet also states "Fees are applied to 2025/2026 intake and onwards unless stated otherwise", "Fees are subject to change", and that accommodation is not included. Cross-checks exactly against this course's own page on study.um.edu.my, which shows "International RM 89,200" and notes the figure is not inclusive of 6% Sales and Service Tax (SST).

Currency is recorded as USD to match the same page’s self-sponsored graduate fee table (the only fee figures actually denominated in a currency on this page); no currency symbol is attached to the undergraduate waiver itself since the fee is confirmed zero.

Undergraduate International Student Full Scholarship
Tuition fees fully waived. The page lists on-campus housing, course textbooks, a monthly stipend, and medical services as benefits the scholarship "may include" -- worded as typical/possible benefits, not a guaranteed itemised package for every recipient.
Eligibility: International student living outside Saudi Arabia, admitted to a KFUPM undergraduate program.
KFUPM's own international-students page states this plainly for every undergraduate international applicant living outside Saudi Arabia, not as a competitive/limited award -- it reads as the standard deal for this applicant category, distinct from a competitive merit scholarship. The four listed extra benefits (housing, textbooks, stipend, medical) are introduced with "may include," so they are recorded as typical rather than contractually guaranteed for every recipient.

Birmingham bands its overseas fee by course rather than one flat institution-wide rate. Home (UK) fee is £9,790/year for 2026/27. The international figure is shown by selecting a non-UK country on the course page's fee widget; USA was used here, matching the method used for Birmingham's other entries. This is a genuinely separate, distinctly-admitted degree from Birmingham's Computer Science BSc — its own UCAS code (GG46, vs the BSc's own code), its own award type (MEng, a 4-year integrated Master's, not a 3-year BSc), and its own named degree title ("Computer Science/Software Engineering"), not a specialisation chosen partway through the plain Computer Science degree. A sibling "Computer Science/Software Engineering with a Year in Industry" variant also exists, not recorded here.

High Fliers Undergraduate Scholarship for the Middle East and North Africa
£5,000 towards tuition fees, for the first year of study only, on a full-time undergraduate degree at the Birmingham UK campus.
Eligibility: Students from the Middle East and North Africa applying for entry to an undergraduate programme starting September 2026, who are classed as an overseas fee payer, can pay the tuition fees the scholarship does not cover, start in September 2026 without deferring, and submit the scholarship application through one of the University’s listed local representatives by 30 May 2026. Selection is on academic merit. MBChB Medicine and Surgery and BDS Dental Surgery applicants are not eligible.
A joint award with the University’s local representatives in the region, so the application goes through an agent partner rather than to the University directly. Applicants must already have accepted a Birmingham offer as their firm choice by the deadline. Only where academic merit cannot separate candidates is an online interview used.

Glasgow prices one flat rate across the College of Science and Engineering (plus Nursing and the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences) rather than per course, distinct from the College of Arts and Social Sciences rate (£27,720/year for 2026/27). Software Engineering is a genuinely separate, distinctly-admitted degree from Glasgow's Computing Science — its own UCAS code (G430 BSc / G610 MSci, vs G400 for Computing Science), taught jointly by the School of Computing Science and the James Watt School of Engineering, with its own entry requirements (A-level Mathematics is compulsory here, not just recommended) and a mandatory paid industry placement after year 3. Glasgow separately also offers a joint "Electronic & Software Engineering" BEng/BSc/MEng (UCAS GHP6/GH66/HG66) combined with electronic engineering, not recorded here as it is a different, third degree again.

Read from Sheffield's own undergraduate fees lookup tool (a JavaScript-rendered DataTables app at tools.sheffield.ac.uk/fees/ug/; automated fetching could not render it, so the table was read live via a browser and archived). This is a genuinely separate, distinctly-admitted degree from Sheffield's Computer Science BSc — its own UCAS code (G600, vs G402 for the BSc), its own award type (BEng, an engineering degree, not BSc), and a related standalone MEng (Computer Science (Software Engineering), G650), run by the School of Computer Science alongside the plain Computer Science BSc/MComp. Sheffield has a fixed fee guarantee: the fee does not increase for the duration of the course. The fee tool opens on its Home / 2026-27 view and filters client-side, so this Overseas row is only visible after selecting Region: Overseas; Sheffield has not published 2027-28 overseas fees (that view holds one row, reading "To be confirmed").

UTS publishes this figure without stating which year it applies to, so it may already be out of date. Treat it as a starting point and check the course page for the current rate. Flag it below if you know it has changed.
UTS's own 2027 International Undergraduate Course Summary Table lists course code C09066, CRICOS code 084098A — which matches the CRICOS code independently confirmed on UTS's official 'Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Software Engineering' program page — as an 8-session (4-year) course with a fee of A$28,620 per session. UTS runs 2 teaching sessions/year, so this is roughly A$57,240/year across a typical full-time load; the table itself only states the per-session figure. The table's cover page states it is the '2027' edition but the row itself carries no separate dated label, so it is recorded as undated.

UTS Academic Merit International Scholarship
15% of UTS tuition fees for the standard number of credit points required for the course.
Eligibility: For commencing international students (not Australian or New Zealand citizens or Australian permanent residents) who meet all admission requirements for the chosen UTS undergraduate (including Honours) or postgraduate coursework program and commence full-time and on campus in Sydney. Not available to students of UTS online or distance degrees, or to recipients of other UTS scholarships, grants or the UTS Alumni Advantage Program for the duration of the scholarship. UTS's published selection process is academic merit in the qualification used as the basis of admission.
UTS publishes an explicit "Selection process" heading whose content is "academic merit in the qualification used as the basis of admission" — a statement about how the award is decided, not merely an entry bar — and no financial circumstances are considered, so merit rather than both. The page also tags the scholarship "Merit". The 15% figure applies to students commencing in 2026; UTS's international scholarships page notes the rate was 20% for those who commenced in 2025. Available for intakes up to Spring 2028. Assessed automatically with the course application.

UTS Vice-Chancellor's International Undergraduate Scholarship

Eligibility: For international students commencing an undergraduate degree at UTS. UTS states the scholarship recognises exceptional international students who embody UTS values of innovation and impact.
Recorded as merit on UTS's own characterisation — it "recognises exceptional international students who embody UTS values of innovation and impact". Achievement and contribution, not hardship, so merit rather than both. No coveragePercentage: UTS writes "Full tuition scholarship" and never a percentage figure, and supplying 100 would be a number the university has not published.

UTS GCE A Level and International Baccalaureate Scholarship
A 50% tuition fees scholarship for the standard course duration.
Eligibility: For international undergraduate students entering UTS on the basis of GCE A Level or International Baccalaureate results. Listed by UTS among its undergraduate scholarships and grants for international students; the majority of UTS scholarships require no separate application and are assessed automatically against the course application.
Basis left unset. UTS's international scholarships page states the qualification the award is tied to and its value, but does not say on this page how recipients are selected — and this project does not treat an award being tied to a qualification type as a claim that selection is decided on achievement. UTS runs a separate, explicitly merit-tagged award (the Academic Merit International Scholarship) where that claim is actually made.

UTS Academic Excellence International Scholarship
A 30% tuition fees scholarship for the standard course duration.
Eligibility: Listed by UTS among the scholarships available to commencing international students for both undergraduate and postgraduate coursework study at UTS in Sydney. The majority of UTS scholarships require no separate application — students are assessed automatically and offered a scholarship if they meet the eligibility criteria.
Basis left unset despite the award's name. UTS's international scholarships page gives the value and the level it covers but makes no statement about how recipients are chosen, and the word "Excellence" in a title is not the university claiming that selection is decided on academic achievement. UTS does make that claim explicitly for its Academic Merit International Scholarship, which is why that one carries merit and this one does not.

RMIT Academic Merit Scholarship for South East Asia

Eligibility: Open to citizens of Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste or Vietnam applying offshore from one of those countries, who hold a full or conditional offer for an eligible RMIT award (including a Bachelor's degree or a Masters by Coursework) and are not already an RMIT student. Applicants must have achieved an Australian equivalent grade GPA of 2.5, or a 70% average, or ATAR 75 in the qualifying qualification at the time of application.
RMIT's terms and conditions for this award state that scholarship selection is based on academic merit, which is why the basis is recorded as merit. The award has limited availability and is granted first-come, first-served; the offer must be accepted and a deposit paid within 14 days of the offer letter. The entry bar is published as three alternatives on three different scales (Australian-equivalent GPA 2.5, 70% average, or ATAR 75) with no single scale stated for the GPA figure, so it is described in prose rather than recorded as a numeric bar. Excluded degrees are AD023 Associate Degree in Aviation (Professional Pilots) and BP345 Bachelor of Aviation (Pilot Training), neither of which is listed here.
