University of Twente splits its non-EU/EEA institutional bachelor's tuition into two bands rather than pricing each programme individually: a 'lower rate' (Communication Science, International Business Administration, Psychology, Public Administration) and a 'higher rate' that covers all of its other bachelor's programmes, including Technical Computer Science, confirmed by name on the same page's 'Overview lower and higher rate programmes' table. For 2026-2027 the higher rate is EUR 16,400/year (2025-2026 was EUR 13,000/year). For comparison, the EU/EEA statutory tuition fee, which most EU/EEA nationals pay instead, is EUR 2,694/year for 2026-2027 (up from EUR 2,601/year in 2025-2026), per the same page. A programme-specific page for Technical Computer Science independently repeats the identical EUR 16,400/year 2026-2027 institutional fee figure.

The published figure is the institutional tuition fee, which Twente says a non-EU/EEA national will usually pay. A lower statutory tuition fee applies to most — though not all — students from EU/EEA countries.

Admissions tests
- Numerus fixus optionalUT states no numerus fixus (capped-place lottery/selection) applies to Technical Computer Science; only Psychology (English track, 250 places) and Technical Medicine (150 places) currently have numerus fixus at UT.
- Mandatory matching requiredA compulsory study-choice matching procedure (online questionnaire plus a matching event) must be completed before enrolment is final. It is explicitly not a selection test -- grades and prior programming experience do not affect the outcome -- but non-completion blocks enrolment even after conditional admission.
